Hello

I've just done a vid on the corect way to test your thermostat, click on the link to see the vid.

Please note: Heat the thermostat gradually, never put a cold thermostat in boiling hot water as this stress's the temperture coil and will most likely damage the thermostat, so cover the thermostat in cold water and heat gradually untill the desired temp is reached.
